Photography for Self-Expression

AbleVoices teaches photography to youth and adults with disabilities as a means for self-expression, empowerment, and advocacy. PSE courses are led in schools, community organizations and virtually. Each project culminates with a gallery exhibit so the public can learn about the photographers, ultimately fostering more inclusive communities.

Club

“PHotography, PHriends, and PHun!”
AbleVoices offers year-round in-person and virtual Photography Club programs to youth and adults with disabilities ages 14 and older. Photographers participating in our in-person club explore scenic locations throughout Middle Tennessee to take photos, learn new skills, and engage with each other and the community. Our photographers exhibit their work at art crawls, festivals, and other venues.
