Photography Club

AbleVoices Photography Club is a year-round program for youth (14+) and adults with and without disabilities. In the summer, groups meet weekly and in the Fall & Spring groups meet monthly. During each photography club outing, the groups explore interesting and scenic locations throughout Middle Tennessee, learn new skills and take photographs and engage with each other and the community. There are many opportunities for social connections… after all our slogan is ‘PHotography, PHriends and PHun!’ Registration includes an AbleVoices backpack, t-shirt, opportunities to participate in social events, other photography learning sessions, and involvement in community gallery exhibits. Transportation is provided to outing locations.

Registration is full for Summer 2024.
The ‘Photography for Self-Expression’ in-person or virtual class is a requirement to participate in the AbleVoices Photography Club. Please contact info@ablevoices.org for more information.

AbleVoices is honored to be a recipient of the Tennessee Disability Coalition grants program. This grant allowed us to purchase iPads, cameras and other equipment and technology that makes it possible for our photographers to upload, edit and print their photos. Thank you to the Tennessee Disability Coalition for bolstering our mission to amplify the voices of people with disabilities through the powerful medium of photography, ultimately fostering more inclusive communities.
