Virtual Photography Club

Registration opens in July for the 2025-2026 AbleVoices Virtual Photography Club for teens and adults with and without disabilities ages 14 and older. The AbleVoices ‘Photography for Self-Expression’ course is a prerequisite for the Virtual Photography Club. Please email info@ablevoices.org for registration information.

Program Overview:

-Year-round Photography Club (12 virtual sessions) beginning in September, just after Labor Day.

-Activities include sharing photos, learning about famous photographers and famous photographs, viewing and discussing images from different photography genres, learn new photo tips, play photography-related games, and more each month.

-Each virtual session is capped at 8 photographers.

-Variety of days and times offered for monthly virtual sessions.

To keep registration fees low for photographers and their families, AbleVoices writes grants to fund programming costs. We are grateful to the Tennessee Arts Commission for their continued support of the AbleVoices Virtual Photography Club.

  1. Can I use my phone to take photos during the AbleVoices Virtual Photography Club (VPC)?

    Yes! Smart phones and tablets in addition to digital cameras are fine to use during our virtual programs.

  2. I’ve taken AbleVoices virtual Project-52 class in the past. Is the virtual Photography Club like Project-52?

    Yes! We’ve discontinued our Project-52 class and created the Virtual Photography Club to add more variety of activities to the course.
