Photography Club (Fall/Spring, In-Person)

AbleVoices Fall/Spring Photography Club is a 9-month program for teens (14+) and adults with and without disabilities. Groups meet monthly on Sunday afternoons (1-4pm) from September-May. During each photography club outing, the groups explore interesting and scenic locations throughout Middle Tennessee, learn new skills and take photographs and engage with each other and the community. There are many opportunities for social connections… after all our slogan is PHotography, PHriends and PHun!

Registration includes:

• 9 photography outings

• Social events

• PHun Fridays (two hour sessions for photographers to learn how to upload photos to Flickr, edit and print images and make photo products. Other tasks include writing Thank You notes to volunteers and community members we met during outings.

• Transportation provided to outing locations when available

• AbleVoices t-shirt

The ‘Photography for Self-Expression’ in-person or virtual class is a requirement to participate in the AbleVoices Photography Club (in-person or virtual).

We also offer a Virtual Photography Club.
