AbleVoices Summer Photography Club is an 8-week program for teens (14+) and adults with and without disabilities. Groups meet weekly on Tuesday or Wednesdays from 10am-1pm starting the first week in June. During each photography club outing, photographers explore interesting and scenic locations throughout Middle Tennessee, take photographs, learn new skills, and engage with each other and the community. There are many opportunities for social connections… after all our slogan is PHotography, PHriends and PHun! You will be prompted upon check out to specify outing day and t-shirt size.
Registration includes:
Summer Club “Kick-Off!” Event on May 18th from 2-4pm (Receive important information, t-shirt, reconnect with PHriends and make new ones, snacks, and PHun! REQUIRED for photographers and parent/guardian to attend).
8 Weekly Photography Club outings (no outing the week of July 4th).
8 Weekly in-studio Friday sessions (two-hour sessions for photographers to upload photos to Flickr, edit, and print images to enter into the Williamson County Fair photography exhibit. Support and materials provided. No session week of July 4th).
3 Social Events (Friday Night Out (June), AbleVoices Cook-Out (July), Williamson County Fair (August).
Bus transportation provided to outing locations when available.

Cameras are available to borrow for the duration of the program, if needed.
The ‘Photography for Self-Expression’ in-person or virtual course is a requirement to participate in the AbleVoices Summer Photography Club.
We also offer a Virtual Photography Club.
